Ayuso processes the first payments of rental aid granted to more than 11,000 you

The Community of Madrid, led by Isabel Díaz Ayuso , has published this week the fifth list of beneficiaries of the youth rental bonus in the Community of Madrid, a list that already amounts to 11,050 people . Furthermore, as confirmed to OKDIARIO by the Housing Department , the corresponding payments are already beginning to be processed and they estimate that the effective order to make them will be made throughout the month of June.

Despite the fact that the head of Housing of the Ayuso Government, Paloma Martín , considers that the young rental bonus "will generate an Phone Number Data  inflationary effect on rents and will not solve the problem of price increases in the market", following the mandate of the Government of Pedro Sánchez, the Ministry has gotten to work to make this aid effective, since the autonomous communities are in charge of its management.

This bonus is aimed at young people between 18 and 35 years old who have employment income and  an annual income of less than 23,725 euros  (3  IPREM ). In other words, your income cannot exceed 1,979 euros per month for 12 payments or 696 euros per month for 14 payments. In the case of the most vulnerable families, they can benefit from more direct rental aid of up to 40% of the property's income.



The aid amounts to 250 euros per month for each tenant requesting aid who accesses the status of beneficiary, with the limit of the monthly amount of the rental income or the price of the eligible transfer, for a maximum period of 24 monthly payments and is intended to contribute to the payment of the rental income of the habitual residence or transfer price of the home or room.

Martín also believes that this is a measure that has already proven to be a failure where it has been applied previously. "We saw it with the Emancipation Rent of Minister María Antonia Trujillo (during Zapatero's legislature), which meant a 10% increase in the rental price in the first quarter of application," he says. However, the regional government is obliged to provide it.

Furthermore, last October we learned that Sánchez would not increase the provision for the young rental bond in 2023, despite the fact that the price rose an average of 6% in the first nine months of 2022 in Spain. According to the figures published in the 2023 General State Budget project by the Ministry of Finance, an allocation of 200 million euros  is contemplated  for this aid to young people, exactly the same as in 2022.
