Cincinnati Reds tab Luis Castillo as Opening Day starter

With Trevor Bauer mosted likely to the Los Angeles Dodgers in complimentary company and Sonny Gray sidelined momentarily with a stubborn back, the writing got on the wall surface for Luis Castillo to go back to an Opening Day mound as starter for the Cincinnati Reds.  All that remained was him revealing enough at camp in Goodyear after a little bit of a late beginning to camp, and it appears he's done lots of that. On Friday night, the Reds revealed that Castillo will certainly indeed get that nod. (I need to add that the initial paragraph of this post indicated that maybe, simply maybe, Castillo was 3rd in the chain of command among last season's triad.  That's far from the situation, though, regardless of the loved one sparkle of his two peers from 2020.  Castillo even more than warranted factor to consider for the OD nod also if Bauer had in some way stuck around and Gray was 100%, his 148 ERA+ and ruining collection one of the salutes of the game. )Congrats to Luis, and here's to the Reds starting the 2021 period far better than they've begun, I dunno, nearly every other season recently Trevor Bauer Jersey.
